Minami Tamaki LLP congratulates Ai Mori on her appointment to the San Francisco County Superior Court by Governor Gavin Newsom.

Judge Mori served as an Associate at Minami Tamaki from 2002 to 2006. Since 2020, she has served as a Chambers Attorney to Associate Justice Martin Jenkins at the California Supreme Court. 

Her prior experience includes over a decade of service in the California Court of Appeal, First Appellate District, where she held multiple roles supporting jurists such as Associate Justice Ioana Petrou, Justice Pro Tem Rebecca Wiseman, Associate Justice Martin Jenkins, and Administrative Presiding Justice William McGuiness. She was a Staff Attorney in the Fourth Appellate District from 2000 to 2002.

Judge Mori earned her Juris Doctor from UC Law San Francisco and fills the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Suzanne R. Bolanos.

Judge Mori is married to firm co-founder and Senior Counsel Dale Minami. They have two daughters, Ellie and Lina, and a dog, Coco.
