Summer Clerk Program 2026

Minami Tamaki LLP is now accepting applications for its 2026 Summer Clerk Program.  

The Summer Clerk Program is a 10-week paid internship at Minami Tamaki's San Francisco office.  Our Clerks work primarily on employment litigation, personal injury litigation, consumer and antitrust class actions, and business immigration.  Summer Clerks perform extensive legal research and writing, and receive hands-on experience in case evaluation and management, client interaction, discovery practice, and trial preparation.  Summer Clerks also have the opportunity to contribute to the firm's social justice work with numerous bar associations and community organizations.  

The firm is seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented individuals who are genuinely interested in plaintiff-side civil litigation and/or business immigration work.  Applicants must have outstanding academic credentials, strong legal research and writing skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  We value Summer Clerks who have a demonstrated interest in civil rights and community service.

Immigration Paralegal 

We are seeking a paralegal with 1-4 years of business immigration experience who possesses a passion for immigration law and working with people from around the world.  

Responsibilities focus on assisting our attorneys in preparing employment-based non-immigrant and/or immigrant visa petitions. Other case types may include PERM, naturalization, and family-based cases. We will train from the ground up, offering insight into the law behind the processes and best practices to ensure success for our clients. 

Requirements: BS/BA degree, clear written and oral communication, strong aptitude for persuasive writing, a focus on attention to detail, and efficient time management 

Candidate must be organized, must be able to prioritize and multi-task, possess excellent English communication and client service skills, possess experience in MS Suite and must enjoy working in a team environment. Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary range: In accordance with California's pay transparency law, the expected base salary range for this position is between $57,000-$71,000, depending on experience
  • Competitive benefits package, including health insurance and a 401(k) plan
  • Flexible hybrid work environment
