Experienced Immigration Paralegal

We are seeking experienced (1 – 3+ years) paralegals with a passion for immigration law and working with people from around the world. Only well-qualified applicants will be considered.

Responsibilities may include assisting our attorneys in preparing non-immigrant and/or immigrant visa petitions, applications for adjustment of status (family and employment), consular forms, and PERM applications. We will consider paralegals who have experience in IV or NIV.

Requirements: BS/BA degree and high-volume business immigration related paralegal experience, including working with volume employment-based non-immigrant categories (H-1B, TN, E-3, etc.) and preparing employment-based immigrant visa petitions (EB-1, EB-2, and EB-3), and adjustment of status applications. Experience preparing O-1, L-1 or Consular filings as well as family-based petitions and applications is a plus.

Ideal candidates must be detail-oriented; be able to provide rapid yet accurate responses to clients and team members; prioritize and multitask; possess excellent organizational and time management skills, English communication skills; and experience in Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Pro. Immigration Associate

Minami Tamaki LLP, an AV-rated firm in San Francisco, seeks an associate with business immigration experience. Ideal candidate must have excellent legal research, writing and oral communication skills, and a commitment to social justice. We need someone who works hard, is a team player, wants to learn and has the desire to provide excellent service to our clients.

Responsibilities may include preparing non-immigrant and/or immigrant visa petitions, applications for adjustment of status (family and employment), consular processing, and PERM applications. Experience with individual L-1 petitions and responding to H-1B and L-1 RFEs is preferred.

This position requires experience working with various employment based non-immigrant categories, and preparing employment based immigrant visa petitions (EB-1, EB-2 and EB-3), adjustment of status or the like in a fast paced environment. Experience with client growth and early stage start-ups is a plus.
