2012 Summer Clerk Program
Minami Tamaki LLP, a San Francisco law firm, is now accepting applications for its 2012 Summer Clerk Program.
The Program runs for ten weeks during the summer with a focus on civil litigation. Our clerks work on a variety of individual and class cases, including consumer and antitrust litigation; employment discrimination, harassment at the workplace, and wage and hour violations; catastrophic injuries and wrongful death claims. Summer Clerks also receive substantive assignments from the firm's immigration law and business transactional practice groups. Summer Clerks perform extensive legal research and writing, and receive hands-on work in case evaluation and management, discovery practice, and trial preparation.
Summer Clerks work directly with the firm's partners and associates, and are supervised by an associate who provides feedback and manages Summer Clerk case loads.
What We're Looking For
The firm is seeking hard-working, detail-oriented individuals who are genuinely interested in civil litigation and plaintiff's side work in general. We look for Summer Clerks who have a demonstrated interest in civil rights and social justice, outstanding academic credentials, and excellent legal research and writing skills.
